The stunning furnishings have been crafted by our very own carpenters on site, which means you won’t find the same piece twice throughout the hotel.

The U-103 suite includes two hand-crafted double beds that sleep four people, and boasts a WiFi onnection, Sky TV (coming soon), iron and ironing board tea and coffee making facilities, a smart TV with full internet access, 19 international channels, a telephone and a large safe.

Not forgetting the bathroom which has a spectacular double whirlpool bath and large walk-in shower, with luxury toiletries provided.

ABOUT U-103
The U-103 ship was German submarine that attacked RMS Olympic, RMS Titanic’s sister ship. RMS Olympic spotted it on the surface, and as the Germans began to shoot, the ship rammed the submarine, leading to the crew abandoning ship.

ABOUT 400
The 400 was the yard that RMS Olympic was built in at in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and was next door to the 401 yard, where RMS Titanic was built.

Placed in the middle of the three Olympic Suites, the Olympic Stateroom Turret Suite sleeps up to four people in two double beds, and is ideal for couples.

ABOUT THE OLYMPIC
RMS Olympic was RMS Titanic and RMS Britannic’s sister ship, and she served the White Star Line for 24 years. Both her and Titanic were replicas of one another, and even included the same White Star Line crockery.

The Violet Jessop Quarters sleeps up to four people in two large double beds. The beautiful bathroom has a large walk-in shower and double whirlpool bath, and guests can help themselves to the complimentary toiletries provided.

All of the furnishings have been made on site by our carpenters and each photograph you see on the walls has a story and extensive history behind it. Beautiful spot lights teamed-up with chesterfield walls set the tone of the room; a perfect blend of contemporary and classic.

ABOUT VIOLET JESSOP QUARTERS
Violet was a nurse and stewardess on RMS Titanic and her story is hard to believe but true. The White Star created three vessels: RMS Titanic, RMS Olympic and RMS Britannic.

Both RMS Titanic and RMS Britannic sank, whilst RMS Olympic was involved in a serious collision. Violet was on all three vessels during each event and survived the maritime disasters.

ABOUT THE OLYMPIC
RMS Olympic was RMS Titanic’s sister ship, with both vessels being identical to one another. She loyally served the White Star Line for 24 years, and her most notable achievement was ramming and sinking a German submarine, U-103, in May 1918.

ABOUT MUTINY
When the Olympic was due to set sail at the end of April 1912, many of the ship’s crew refused to embark on the voyage from Southampton to New York as, like the Titanic, the ship did not have enough lifeboats. Around 100 more crew members were hired from Liverpool to replace them.

ABOUT MASQUERADE
Many people believe in the conspiracy theory that RMS Titanic was switched with her sister ship, RMS Olympic, which were identical to one another. Olympic was  damaged when she collided with HMS Hawke in 1911, leading to significant financial difficulties for the White Star Line. Many people believe RMS Titanic was deliberately sank so the shipping company received compensation money.

HAWKE QUARTERS

Step into the Hawke Quarters, which sleeps up to six people, and be dazzled by the temporary home-from-home. The room includes two double beds and two sofa beds, as well as a convenient kitchenette, boasting everything you need; a microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle and dishwasher. Not forgetting your very own six-seater dining table to ensure you never need to leave this exquisite room.

ABOUT HAWKE
H.M.S Hawke was the ship that collided with the RMS Olympic, RMS Titanic’s sister ship. The White Star company, resulting in significant financial difficulties for the White Star Line. Resources had to be pulled from RMS Titanic to fix RMS Olympic, delaying its journey that was originally set to begin in March, not April 1912.

ABOUT DAZZLE
RMS Olympic, among many other vessels, was painted with a dazzle design as a form of camouflage in WWI and II, and was used to confuse the enemy of a ship’s scale and direction.

ABOUT A NIGHT TO REMEMBER
A Night to Remember is a non-fiction book by Walter Lord and is regarded as a definitive source about the RMS Titanic and its sinking. The author interviewed many of the ship’s survivors following the disaster, and also features memoirs and articles. The book was also adapted for the screen right here in the UK.
